About the Program

This program gives out interest-free loans to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Punjab. It’s all about boosting the economy by backing entrepreneurs, creating jobs and promoting exports in key areas throughout the province.

Loan Purpose

  • New Businesses: Funding for startups
  • Existing Businesses: For expanding, upgrading, or working capital
  • Leasing: For commercial logistics
  • RECP Technologies: For eco-friendly businesses

Eligibility

  • Small Enterprises with yearly sales up to PKR 150M
  • Medium Enterprises with yearly sales between PKR 150M – PKR 800M
  • Age range:  25-55 years
  • Must be an active FBR tax filer with a good credit history
  • Must reside and run business in Punjab
  • Valid CNIC and NTN
  • Must own or rent the business location

Grace Period:

  • Borrowers are eligible for a grace period before repayment begins:
  • Startups: Enjoy a grace period of up to 6 months to stabilize operations before making any repayments.
  • Existing Businesses: Receive a 3-month grace period, offering short-term relief before the loan repayment schedule starts.

This buffer period allows businesses to plan, invest, and generate initial cash flow without immediate financial pressure.

Equity Contribution:

  • No equity for T1 except for leased commercial vehicles
  • Leased Vehicles: 25%
  • Other Loans: 20% for other cases under T2
  • 10% for females, transgender individuals, and persons with disabilities

Repayment Terms:

  • Pay in equal monthly installments based on the approval terms
  • Late Charges: PKR 1 for every 1000/day on overdue amounts

Additional Costs:

Handling fee

  • NIL if you’re setting up a new business
  • 3% per year for existing businesses
  • NIL for eco-friendly businesses in (T2 only)
  • Insurance, legal, and registration costs will be charged as per actual expenses.
